कडाचिरा श्री त्रिक्कपालम शिव मंदिर: दक्षिणामूर्ति का पवित्र आवास

केरल राज्य के कन्नूर जिले के पेरालासेरी में अंजरकंडी नदी के किनारे स्थित कडाचिरा श्री त्रिक्कपालम शिव मंदिर एक प्राचीन हिंदू मंदिर है जो भगवान शिव को समर्पित है। यह मंदिर दक्षिणामूर्ति का निवास स्थान है, जो भगवान शिव का एक रूप है, जो सभी प्रकार के ज्ञान के गुरु/शिक्षक के रूप में पूजे जाते हैं। मंदिर की एक अनूठी विशेषता यह है कि यहां दो अलग-अलग गर्भगृहों में पूर्व दिशा की ओर मुख करके दो समान रूप से महत्वपूर्ण मूर्तियां हैं।

लोककथाओं के अनुसार, ऋषि परशुराम ने इस मूर्ति को स्थापित किया था और यह मंदिर केरल के 108 प्रसिद्ध शिव मंदिरों में से एक है। यह त्रिक्कपालेश्वरम मंदिरों के तीनों में से एक है, जिनका उल्लेख 108 शिव मंदिर सोत्रम में किया गया है। अन्य दो मंदिर पथानमथिट्टा जिले में निरनम (निरनम त्रिक्कपालेश्वरम दक्षिणामूर्ति मंदिर) और कोझिकोड जिले में नादापुरम (नादापुरम इरिगन्नूर शिव मंदिर) में स्थित हैं।

Kadachira Sri Thrikkapalam Siva Temple, is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated on the banks of the Anjarakandi River at Peralassery of Kannur District in Kerala state in India. The temple is the abode of Dakshinamurthy. The unique feature of the temple is that there are two idols of equally important in two facets. The both deity of Thrikkapalam temple is Dakshinamurthy and are located in separate sanctum sanctorums facing east. According to folklore, sage Parasurama has installed the idol and the temple is a part of the 108 famous Shiva temples in Kerala. This is one of the three Thrikkapaleeswaram temples mentioned in 108 Shiva temples sothram and other two temples situated in Niranam in Pathanamthitta district and Nadapuram in Kozhikode district.
