The pooja for all round improvement or development is mainly termed as Abhivruddhi pooja. It would be usually performed by those devotees that have faith in God. This pooja is very famous in the Akshayapureeshwarar temple, which is situated in the Tanjore district of Tamil Nadu. As the temple houses both lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati as the main deities, it can also be termed as the Abhivruddhi Nayaki temple. The pooja is performed with loads of devotion and cleansing.
