Welcome to the Sanatan Social Help Center! This page provides you with comprehensive information and guidance to help you make the most out of your Sanatan Social experience. Whether you're new to the platform or a long-time user, this page covers everything you need to know about managing your account, creating content, interacting with others, and maintaining your privacy and security on our platform.

1. Account Management

Creating an Account

To join Sanatan Social, click on the "Sign Up" button. You can sign up with your email address or through third-party services like Google or Facebook. After entering your details, you'll need to verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox. Once verified, you can complete your profile setup and start using the platform.

Logging In

Once you’ve created an account, you can log in anytime by clicking on the "Log In" button. Enter your email address and password. If you signed up using a third-party service, you can log in directly through Google or Facebook.

Forgot Your Password?

If you’ve forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your registered email address, and we’ll send you a link to reset your password. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the email right away.

Editing Your Profile

To update your profile information, log into your account and navigate to your profile page. You can change your profile picture, bio, cover photo, contact information, and more. Make sure your profile accurately reflects your interests and personality.

Deleting Your Account

If you no longer wish to use Sanatan Social, you can delete your account by going to the account settings page. Please be aware that account deletion is permanent, and all your data will be lost. If you ever decide to come back, you’ll need to create a new account.

2. Privacy and Security

Your Privacy Settings

Sanatan Social takes your privacy seriously. You can control who sees your posts, who can send you messages, and who can follow you. To adjust your privacy settings, go to "Settings" > "Privacy." You can choose whether to make your posts public or limit visibility to specific people, such as friends or followers.

Blocking or Reporting Users

If you feel that someone is violating the community guidelines or harassing you, you can block or report them. Blocking someone prevents them from seeing your posts or contacting you. To block a user, visit their profile and click "Block." To report inappropriate content, click the three dots on the post and select "Report." Our team will review the report and take appropriate action.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

For added security, we recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your account. This requires you to enter a verification code sent to your phone when logging in. You can enable 2FA under "Settings" > "Security" for added protection.

3. Posting and Sharing Content

How to Create a Post

To post content, go to your home feed or profile page and click the "Create Post" button. You can add text, images, videos, or links. Make sure your post is relevant to the Sanatan Social community and follows our community guidelines.

Sharing Posts

To share a post, click the "Share" button below any post. You can share it to your feed, a specific group, or even privately with your followers. Add your thoughts to the share to encourage further discussion or engagement.

Tagging Users in Posts

When you create a post, you can tag other users by typing "@" followed by their username. This notifies them about the post, and they can join the conversation. Please ensure that your tags are relevant to the content you're sharing.

What Content Is Allowed

Sanatan Social is a platform for spiritual people to connect, learn, and share. We encourage positive, respectful content. You should avoid posting anything that promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or illegal activity. For a full list of community guidelines, please refer to our Community Guidelines.

4. Pages, Groups, and Events

Creating a Page

To create a page for a community, organization, or brand, click on the "Create" button on your homepage and select "Page." Follow the prompts to set up your page, including uploading a cover photo, adding a description, and inviting followers. Pages are public, so anyone can follow or interact with your content.

Joining or Creating a Group

Groups on Sanatan Social are a great way to connect with like-minded individuals. You can join existing groups or create your own. To create a group, go to the "Groups" section and click "Create Group." Groups can be private or public. In private groups, only members can view and post content. In public groups, anyone can join and participate.

Creating an Event

To create an event, go to the "Events" section and click "Create Event." You’ll need to provide details like the event name, description, time, and location. You can invite your friends or followers to attend. Events can be public or private, and attendees can RSVP directly on the event page.

5. Notifications and Alerts

Managing Notifications

To manage notifications, go to "Settings" > "Notifications." You can control what types of notifications you receive, such as alerts for new posts, comments, messages, and more. You can choose to receive notifications via email, mobile push notifications, or both.

Mute Notifications

If you no longer want to receive notifications from a specific page, group, or individual, you can mute notifications. Go to the page, group, or conversation, click the three dots in the top right corner, and select "Mute Notifications."

6. Troubleshooting

Why Can't I Log In?

If you're having trouble logging in, double-check your email and password. If you can't remember your password, use the "Forgot Password" feature. If you're still having issues, try clearing your browser's cache or updating the mobile app.

Why Isn't My Post Showing Up?

If your post isn't appearing, it may be due to a slow internet connection or a temporary issue with the platform. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in. If the problem persists, contact our support team for assistance.

What to Do If Your Account Is Suspended

If your account has been suspended, you will receive a notification with the reason. If you believe this was a mistake, you can appeal by contacting our support team at [email protected].

7. Advertisers and Publishers

Advertising on Sanatan Social

Sanatan Social offers advertising options for businesses and organizations to reach a wide audience. To create ads, go to the "Ads Manager" section. You can create custom ads targeting specific demographics or interests. You can track the performance of your ads and optimize them for better results.

Publishing Content
