हिंदू धर्म मध्य पूर्व में

मध्य पूर्व में हिंदू धर्म की उपस्थिति 16वीं सदी की शुरुआत से ही देखने को मिलती है। भारतीय प्रवासी, विभिन्न धर्मों के, फारस की खाड़ी के अरब राज्यों में रहते हैं और काम करते हैं। इनमें से कई हिंदू हैं। फारस की खाड़ी के इलाके में भारतीय और नेपाली प्रवासियों और कर्मचारियों के आने के कारण ये प्रवासी समुदाय बने।

हिंदू मंदिर बहरीन, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, यमन और ओमान में बनाए गए हैं।

Hinduism has been found in the Middle East since the early 16th century. Millions of members of the Indian diaspora, of different religions, reside and work in Arab states of the Persian Gulf; many of them are Hindu. Many came due to the migration of Indians and Nepalese expatriates and employees to the area around the Persian Gulf.
